Inclination data is crucial for accurate ballistic calculations. Therefore, the VECTOR X is equipped with a highly sensitive, built-in inclination sensor. This sensor provides the on-board Applied Ballistics Elite solver with precise inclination measurements whenever a target distance is measured.
Enhancing Inclination Accuracy with Firmware Version 180
With firmware version 180, we’ve introduced an Inclination Adjustment Feature, allowing users to fine-tune inclination settings for even greater accuracy.
How to Update Your VECTOR X
To update your VECTOR X firmware, first update the VECSS Mobile App to version 1.0.8. Then, connect your VECTOR X to the app. A popup will appear prompting you to update the firmware – simply confirm to proceed. To ensure a smooth update, keep your phone’s screen active and avoid any interruptions during the process.
Once updated, you can access the inclination adjustment feature by navigating Settings → Inclination Adjustment inside your VECTOR X.
For the best results, use this simple method to level your device accurately:
Find a fixed point in your surroundings that is at the same height as your binoculars when looking through them. Align the aiming mark with this point, then press the Menu button to set the inclination calibration.
